Bing has extensive research and consulting experience in underwater acoustics with technical skills covering sound source and propagation modelling, measurement and passive acoustic monitoring, data processing and analysis, marine soundscape interpretation and marine mammal sound detection, noise impact assessment, and mitigation and control design and management. His project experience ranges from offshore drilling and seismic survey explorations to coastal/offshore development and operations, across regions of different jurisdictions. Bing has detailed knowledge in transport (rail and road) and environmental related noise and vibration issues. Bing has played a key role in delivering noise and vibration studies based on industry best practice for multiple major METRONET railway projects in WA. He also led and delivered environmental noise and vibration studies for multiple major projects across Westeran Australia and nationally.

Heath is a Consulting Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physics from Curtin University. He has a passion for the field of Acoustics and is eager to apply his math and physics skills to solve real-world problems. Heath’s final year research project focuses on the propagation of sound from fireworks through different media and its effects on wildlife. His consulting work involves marine and terrestrial acoustic data processing and analysis, detection of marine and terrestrial faunavocalizations, noise modelling and prediction for both marine andterrestrial environment, field measurements, noise and vibration impact assessment, and reporting.
